While visiting family in Reno, we decided to stop at Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory in Washoe Valley. It was such a cute candy shop. It turns out it is family owned by 3rd generation candy makers. Their family has been making candy and chocolate since 1936.

There is so much homemade candy to choose from. There were so dozens of flavors of homemade chocolate, a wall of saltwater taffy, the award winning brittle, and six flavors of fudge. They also have many gummy candy options.

Matt teased me saying that I could only pick one thing. With all of the options that was impossible.

After a lot of looking and sampling, we ended up getting a 3/4 lb of chocolate fudge and 1/4 lb peanut butter chocolate fudge. We also got a free gift because we purchased a pound of fudge (candy grapefruit slices). Our daughter also picked out a giant gummy snake.

We had a great time exploring Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory, and can’t wait to visit again! Luckily they have online ordering, so we don’t have to wait as long to replenish our fudge supply.
